Job summary

Family Dollar in Crewe is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload deliveries, and keep areas clean and presentable.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with standing periods. This part-time position offers a friendly, team-focused environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
