Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Lancaster store. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help maintain stock and store appearance. You’ll contribute to a positive shopping experience and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous retail/service experience is preferred; part-time hours are typical for this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent movement and manual tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
