Job summary

bp retail is recruiting a Temporary customer service assistant for night shifts on a 6-week initial contract. Based at Wolverton, you’ll receive training online and on the job to deliver great service in our fast-paced retail environment.

Your day-to-day include serving customers, stocking shelves, food and drink preparation from Wild Bean Café, handling deliveries, promoting offers and loyalty schemes, and keeping the store and forecourt clean and safe.

We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on-the-job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively

• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp's offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt

This is an initial 6 week temporary contract. As a valued member of the bp retail team, you will receive full training and support to help you succeed in the role from day one.
