bp is seeking a temporary Customer Service Assistant for a 6-week contract at its retail location. You will welcome customers, serve food and drinks from the Wild Bean Café, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

No prior retail experience is required as training will be provided. The role suits energetic, team-focused individuals who value safety and customer care.

We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on-the-job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that the safety of yourself, your colleagues and our customers, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp's offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt

This is an initial 6 week temporary contract. As a valued member of the bp retail team, you will receive full training and support to help you succeed in the role from day one.
