Job summary

BP p.l.c. is hiring a temporary customer service assistant for an initial 6-week contract at our Wild Bean Café in a fast-paced retail environment.

No prior retail experience is required as full training will be provided; you will serve customers, handle deliveries, stock shelves and support promotions while following bp safety policies.

Applicants aged 16+ are welcome; join a supportive team and gain practical customer service skills from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow bp policies.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that the safety of yourself, your colleagues and our customers, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp's offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt

This is an initial 6 week temporary contract. As a valued member of the bp retail team, you will receive full training and support to help you succeed in the role from day one.
