Job summary

bp retail is seeking a customer service assistant to join our team for night shifts. You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, delivering friendly service and helping customers with their needs.

Training will be provided online and on the job to support you in developing the necessary skills. You'll contribute to a positive store culture, handle food and drink at our Wild Bean Café, manage deliveries and stock, and participate in promotions and loyalty schemes while maintaining store

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service.
• Energetic team player in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to undergo online and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise safety of yourself, colleagues and customers in line with bp policies.
• Serve customers efficiently and meet their needs promptly.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment in line with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks from our Wild Bean Café.
• Receive deliveries, replenish stock and manage stock tasks.
• Support bp offers, promotions and the bp loyalty scheme.
• Carry out cleaning duties in store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
