Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for New Stores to support a UK store expansion programme for a multi-site retailer. This hands-on role delivers projects from feasibility through handover, managing budgets, quality and safety while coordinating with landlords, consultants and shopfitters.

You will lead multiple live projects across a dispersed UK portfolio, run construction programmes, monitor progress on site visits and ensure openings meet brand

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering multiple new store openings and refurbishments for a multi-site retailer.
• Experience managing capex budgets, cost control and construction programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to coordinate with landlords, architects and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of new store openings, refurbishments and associated construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Coordinate design development, landlord approvals, planning, Building Control and statutory requirements.
• Manage architects, consultants and contractors, ensuring programmes, budgets and opening dates are met.
• Lead snagging, handover and store opening readiness activities.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, regulatory requirements and safety.
