Job summary

Lidl is hiring a part-time Cleaner in the Greater London area to maintain a clean, welcoming store environment for customers and colleagues. You will handle routine cleaning, hygiene standards, and basic upkeep to support a high-quality in-store experience.

The role offers £14.80–£14.90 per hour on a 25-hour contract, with an extra £2.00 per hour on bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, plus a benefits package to support your well-being and life outside Lidl.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial but not essential.
• A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Drive and independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets and waste/recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Ensure hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
