Lidl in the United Kingdom is hiring a Cleaner to help deliver a clean, welcoming store environment. The role involves maintaining tidiness, hygiene and safety across the store, and supporting colleagues to ensure a great customer experience.

You’ll work a 30-hour contract with a starting 6am shift, receive benefits including holiday entitlement, discount, pension, and a supportive team. Prior cleaning experience is useful but not essential, and a hands-on attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential).
• Hands-on approach with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Commitment to store cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Responsabilités

• Thoroughly maintain the store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area including toilets, waste and recycling.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Ensure hygiene, health and safety standards are upheld.
