Job summary

Lidl is hiring a Cleaner to help keep the store clean and hygienic, supporting customers and teammates. The role pays £13.45-£13.65 per hour on a 15 hour contract, with an extra £2.00 per hour on bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, plus a pension scheme and other benefits.

You’ll maintain store tidiness, operate cleaning equipment, and uphold Health and Safety standards, contributing to a great in-store experience for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial.
• Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Drive and independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain the store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively ensure hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
