Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Store Cleaner in the United Kingdom. The role offers a 37.5 hour contract with shifts from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, and an hourly rate of £13.45–£13.65. Benefits include 30-35 days holiday (pro rata), a 10% in-store discount, a pension scheme, and enhanced family leave.

Training and a supportive team environment are provided to help you thrive in-store. You'll be responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, operating cleaning equipment, and upholding hygiene and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential).
• Hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Desire to do the best job for your store and your team.
• Drive and independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean welfare areas including toilets, waste and recycling.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Uphold hygiene, Health and Safety standards.
