Job description

Job Title: In-store Cleaner (Part-Time)

Arcus is seeking a dedicated part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Tadcaster store. This permanent position offers 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Work Schedule

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. The current shift pattern for this role is as follows:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: 13:00-17:00
• Tuesday: 13:00-17:00
• Thursday: 13:00-17:00
• Friday: 13:00-17:00
• Saturday: 13:00-17:00

There are opportunities to increase hours through overtime, and various shift patterns including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery
• Perform thorough cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to maintain store cleanliness
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as needed
• Maintain outdoor areas, including trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Training and Requirements

Full training will be provided. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Key qualities include an eye for detail, a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, and the ability to work independently.
