Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's in Southport Meols Cop. The role is 15 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start option. Shifts cover early mornings to evenings, seven days a week, with overtime opportunities available.

You'll perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and occasionally cleaning toilets or exterior areas. Training is provided by Arcus.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied
• Arcus will support you through full training

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Southport Meols Cop store on a permanent basis. 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 06:00 to 10:00

Monday: 05:00 to 09:00

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: Day off

Friday: 05:00 to 08:30

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
