Job summary

Arcus FM is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Paignton, 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour. Immediate start available.

Shifts include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with weekends work and occasional overtime. You will perform daily cleaning tasks to a high standard, operate cleaning equipment, mop, vacuum, wipe and sweep, and may clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings and windows.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies.
• Occasional outdoor work keeping trolley bays clean from leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Paignton store on a permanent basis. 16 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 06:00 to 08:00

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 06:00 to 09:00

Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
