Job summary

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Durham store on a permanent basis. The role offers 18 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with immediate start. Various shift patterns including early morning to evening, with weekend work, are available.

Training will be provided to ensure high cleaning standards and customer safety. You will be part of a team that keeps the store sparkling and safe, supporting customers and colleagues with a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• A keen eye for cleanliness and detail to maintain high standards.
• Friendly approach and good team communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in Sainsbury's stores.
• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as required.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free of debris outside store areas.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Durhamstore on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is

Sunday: 05:00 to 08:00

Monday: 05:00 to 08:00

Tuesday: Day Off

Wednesday: 04:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 04:00 to 08:00

Friday: Day Off

Saturday: 04:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?
