Job description

Job Title: In-store Cleaner

Arcus is seeking a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Middlesbrough store on a fixed-term basis. The role offers 10.30 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Working Hours and Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day options, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 15:00 - 17:00
• Monday: 15:00 - 17:00
• Tuesday: 15:00 - 17:00
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday: 15:00 - 17:00
• Saturday: 15:00 - 17:20

There is also potential to increase hours through overtime.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery
• Perform thorough cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to maintain store cleanliness
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintain outside areas, including trolley bays, free of leaves and debris
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in your role.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, which is a condition of employment
