Job Opportunity: Part-Time In-Store Cleaners at Sainsbury's Whitby

Arcus is seeking 2 part-time In-store Cleaners to join our team at Sainsbury's Whitby store on a permanent basis. If you enjoy working in a customer-focused environment and take pride in maintaining cleanliness, we want to hear from you!

Position Details

• Hours: 18 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: £11.44
• Start: Immediate available

Shift Patterns

Our stores operate 7 days a week, and we offer various shifts, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with some weekend work. Current shift patterns include:

• Daily 06:00 to 09:00 (Wednesday off)
• Sunday 16:00 to 19:00
• Monday - Wednesday 18:00 - 21:00
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday - Saturday 18:00 - 21:00

There is also potential to increase hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery
• Perform thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintain trolley bays outside, ensuring they are free of leaves and debris
• Follow all health and safety procedures

What We Need From You

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
