At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Straiton store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and here at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 15:00 - 19:00
• Monday: 15:00 - 19:00
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Wednesday: 14:00 - 19:00
• Thursday: 14:00 - 19:00
• Friday: Day Off
• Saturday: Day Off

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus Cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Daily cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Full training and support will be provided.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, are important.

Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
