Job Title: Part-Time In-Store Cleaner

Join our team at Arcus as a vital part of maintaining cleanliness in Sainsbury's Drumchapel store. We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time In-Store Cleaner to work 16 hours per week on a permanent basis, with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day workweeks, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00-09:00
• Monday: 05:00-08:00
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Thursday: 05:00-08:00
• Friday: 05:00-08:00
• Saturday: 05:00-08:00

There is also potential to increase hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within our stores. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Performing thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outdoor areas like trolley bays, ensuring they are free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Training and Requirements

Arcus provides full training to support your role. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance (a condition of employment).
