At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Bognor Regis store on a permanent basis. The role is for 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00-08:00
• Monday: 05:00-08:00
• Tuesday: 05:00-08:00
• Wednesday: 05:00-08:00
• Thursday: Day Off
• Friday: 05:00-08:00
• Saturday: 05:00-08:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Daily cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside areas, including trolley bays, free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Arcus will support you with full training.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided. An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, are important.

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
