Job Title: In-store Cleaner (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated part-time In-store Cleaner to join our team at Sainsbury's Broadcut store on a fixed-term basis. This role offers 22 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Working Hours and Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day schedules, with shifts such as early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 - 10:00
• Monday: 05:00 - 10:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Thursday: Day Off
• Friday: Day Off
• Saturday: 05:00 - 09:00

There is also potential to increase hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

Arcus cleaners are essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers in Sainsbury's supermarkets. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Performing thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outdoor areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in your role.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided. You should have:

• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• To provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, which is a condition of employment
