Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In-Store Cleaner for Sainsbury’s Halifax store. 18 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with immediate start. The role offers varied shifts, including early mornings and weekends, and the opportunity to increase hours via overtime.

You will be part of a friendly team responsible for keeping the store clean and safe, performing mopping, vacuuming, binning, toilet cleaning, and dusting, while adhering to health and safety procedures. Training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training provided.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A proactive approach to cleaning and customer service.

Aufgaben

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform thorough cleaning (mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping).
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and canopy areas as required.
• Keep external areas tidy (trolley bays, leaves, debris) and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Halifax store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00

Monday: 05:00 to 08:00

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
