Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In-Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Rayleigh Weir. The role is 29 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71 and immediate start available.

Shifts cover 7 days with early morning to evening options; overtime may increase hours. You will be responsible for cleaning tasks across the store, maintaining cleanliness and safety for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and carry out cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies when required.
• Occasionally work outside to keep trolley bays clear of leaves and debris.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Rayleigh Weir store on a permanent basis. 29 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 11:00 to 16:00

Monday: 17:00 to 22:00

Tuesday: 17:00 to 21:30

Wednesday: 17:00 to 22:00

Thursday: 17:00 to 21:30

Friday: 17:00 to 22:00

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
