At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Alnwick store on a permanent basis. The role offers 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. At Arcus, we offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day schedules. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening hours, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 07:00 - 13:00
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: 05:30 - 08:00
• Thursday: 05:00 - 08:00
• Friday: 05:00 - 08:00
• Saturday: 05:00 - 08:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining clean and safe Sainsbury's supermarkets for customers. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

We will provide full training to support you in your role.

What will you need?

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
