Job summary

University of Strathclyde is seeking an Assistant Retail Catering Manager to lead and develop our campus retail catering operations. You will work with the Deputy Retail Catering Manager, Supervisors and Team Leaders to deliver the Catering Strategy and annual operating plan.

With responsibility for recruitment, stock and resources, you will drive sustainable practices across ten campus outlets, ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within catering, hospitality, food service or retail operations.
• Experience leading and developing teams and delivering high service standards.
• Ability to manage staff across multiple sites or outlets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate staff to deliver friendly, efficient service for students, staff and visitors.
• Recruit, develop and manage staff, stock and resource planning.
• Implement sustainable practices across all outlets.
• Drive continuous improvement in service quality and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Deputy Retail Catering Manager, Supervisors and Team Leaders to deliver the Catering Strategy.
