Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• An awareness of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service.
• Enhance the store environment by staying focused on customers during peak hours.
• Maintain a store experience that reflects brand standards and mystery shop expectations.
• Contribute to the overall store vibe by staying positive, respectful and helpful to others.
• Uphold company standards and act as a positive role model to peers.
• Work productively within the team and take initiative to collaborate.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Communicate positively and effectively with peers.
• Participate in daily and department meetings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines.
• Assist in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock organized.
• Support timely completion of weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers, RTVs).
• Observe loss prevention guidelines and inventory control measures.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure merchandise is ticketed and floors are well stocked.
• Support sales through merchandising and display projects.
• Keep up with current product and trend awareness.
