Overview

Retail Assistant - Part Time, 20 hours. We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Waterloo Road, Blackpool. This is a permanent part time position with a variety of shifts, a minimum of 20 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

The amount you earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assist with packing, and leave a positive impression with a thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care, assist with deliveries, and place products into freezers and on shelves for customers
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines to keep shops safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach
• Enjoy being busy and able to switch between tasks (stock delivery, till work, customer assistance, cleaning, stock rotation, etc.)
• Reliability as part of a small team; colleagues and customers depend on you
• Flexibility with shifts; rostas planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work considered when planning shifts
