Job summary

Dale Barracks retail unit is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to join Aramark UK. You will serve customers, handle payments, and help maintain stock and displays in a busy site environment.

The role offers a 20-hour week with weekend work, a salary rate of £12.71 per hour (£13,218.40 annually), and benefits including meals, uniform, and parking. Training provided; DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• UK resident for the past 3 years and eligible to work in the UK.
• Able to pass full DBS checks.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and process payments accurately, including coffee and lottery service.
• Operate and cash up the till.
• Upsell to customers.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Support opening and closing the retail unit.

We're looking for a Retail Assistant to work at Dale Barracks. In this role, you'll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit.

What you'll do:

What we're looking for:

• You've lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here years and have the legal right to work here
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential - we'll provide full training
• Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own
