Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Steward to join the busy hospitality team at Dale Barracks in Chester. You will serve food and drinks to military personnel and visitors, handle till operations, and support bar tasks in a dynamic site environment.

The 30-hour-per-week, part-time position offers weekend work and on-site parking. Full training is provided, with DBS checks and security vetting as part of the eligibility process.

Pay:£12.71 per hour
Hours:Permanent,part-time. 30 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (some weekends)
Shift times: Various shifts between 0630 and 2100

As a Steward at Dale Barracks, you'll be part of a dedicated hospitality team delivering excellent food and customer service within a busy military environment. Supporting military personnel, colleagues, and visitors, you'll enjoy a varied role, a strong team culture and the satisfaction of helping create a positive experience for everyone on site.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you’ll do:

• Serving food and/or beverages to customers.

• Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
• Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.

What we’re looking for:

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Teamwork - able to work within a team environment to ensure efficient operations
• Flexibility- ability to adapt to changing needs working weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Attention to detail-a keen eye for detail in service
