Job summary

Aramark is recruiting for a Retail Assistant at Catterick ICC, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4EU. You will help deliver excellent service, manage stock and support daily retail operations. This is a new site with shifts potentially adapting to business needs.

You will work Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, with 8:00am to 6:00pm shift times and £12.71 per hour. Overtime opportunities may be available and there are strong training and progression opportunities within Aramark.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers and processing payments accurately.
• Delivering excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and ensuring displays remain attractive and well presented.
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with stock management.
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing products as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy retail environment.
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company standards at all times.
• Supporting with opening and closing procedures for the retail unit.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to join our team at Catterick ICC, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4EU. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to become part of a busy retail operation, helping to deliver excellent service while supporting the day-to-day running of the retail unit.

Please note that as this is a new site, shift patterns may change to meet business needs and overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

About you

• Previous retail or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, organised, and flexible approach to work
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards

Additional Information

• Applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK
• Successful candidates will be required to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
