About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

• Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders, maximizing sales where possible.
• Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
• Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
• Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
• Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and work on personal sales targets.
• Utilize the E-learning portal to enhance product knowledge and performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in customer-facing areas.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
• Represent the company professionally, promoting our values and maintaining a good image.
• Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working hours:

20.5 hours on average, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience in customer service or retail within a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to resolving customer queries.
• Proficient in IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
