Job summary

Longleat Enterprises Limited is seeking a full-time Retail Assistant on a short-term 6-month basis to support the Retail Department with administration and customer care.

Based in Warminster, you will help manage EPOS data, assist with basic merchandising, and provide a high level of service to customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, with opportunities to learn about Longleat’s operations and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy office environment, preferably in retail with emphasis on customer care.
• Understanding of EPOS and basic merchandising principles.
• Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel, internet and email.
• Excellent communication skills.

About the role:

We are seeking a full-time Retail Assistant to join us on a short-erm basis for 6 months.

The role, working in a fast-paced environment, will be instrumental in helping to enable the smooth running of the retail department from an administrative viewpoint. It will provide a high level of administrative support to the Retail Department.

Key elements are demonstrating excellent customer care skills in dealing with customers, both internal and external, and managing, maintaining & developing the ongoing & continuous integrity, infrastructure & information on the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) database.

You will need to have:

• Sound experience in a busy office environment, preferably in the retail sector with emphasis on customer care.


• Understanding of EPOS and basic merchandising principles.


• Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel, internet and email system.


• Excellent communication skills.

This is a fixed term contract until 31st March, ideally full time, Monday to Friday.
