Job summary

Longleat Enterprises Limited (trading as Longleat) is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Member for a permanent, part-time role. The position involves serving guests at the Chameleon Tree or Watering Hole Café, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining clean, well-presented service areas.

You will work a 24-hour week with shifts across a 7-day rota, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of guest service at all times
• Be knowledgeable about products and advise customers
• Operate tills in line with cash handling procedures
• Clear and clean tables and front-of-house areas
• Upsell and replenish display/fridges to drive sales
• Record end-of-day wastage to minimise loss
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness per company standards
• Handle service equipment and utensils correctly

About the role

We have an opening for an enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. If you enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of a bustling, guest-facing role where exceptional service takes centre stage then this may be a role for you. Your commitment to excellence will shine as you uphold our upbeat guest interactions and maintain the pristine cleanliness and presentation of the food and beverage service areas. You will be central to helping make each guest's visit memorable and enjoyable.

Key duties will include

• Provide the highest standard of guest service at all times
• Be knowledgeable about all products sold, advising customers and answering queries
• Operate tills in line with cash handling procedure
• Clear and clean tables
• Ensure all front of house areas are clean and tidy in line with Company hygiene standards
• Drive sales by replenishment of display/fridges and upselling
• Record and keep end of day service wastage to a minimum
• Ensure service work areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in line with internal periodic audits
• Ensure service equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly

About you

• Demonstratable customer service experience is desirable, although not essential
• An abundance of enthusiasm and energy, and a passion for delivering a great customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills with a confident, mature and friendly nature
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
• Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required

Your contract

This is a permanent contract, working 24 hours per week. Working hours will vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
