Qualifications

• A qualified solicitor with 2-6 years' PQE and experience in restructuring and insolvency.
• Experience across transactional restructuring, formal insolvency processes or distressed transactions.
• Familiarity with finance and security documentation would be advantageous.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• A commercially minded approach, with the ability to take ownership of matters and work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Advising insolvency practitioners on formal insolvency processes, appointments and distressed business and asset sales.
• Working on transactional restructuring, distressed transactions and related advisory matters.
• Advising directors and stakeholders on financial distress, directors' duties and available options.
• Supporting banks and financial institutions on distressed lending, finance and security documentation, waivers, amendments and enforcement strategies.
• Handling contentious insolvency matters, including applications, witness statements and related litigation.
• Building client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
