Job summary

Suumayaagro in London is seeking a Manager to deliver a diverse mix of restructuring advisory and insolvency engagements for corporates, lenders and investors. You’ll oversee engagements from scoping to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.

You will analyse financial performance, cash flow and options to support restructuring recommendations, build client relationships and coach junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in restructuring or insolvency engagements.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPI or JIEB) or working towards one.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience leading teams, managing priorities and delivering high-quality work under pressure.

The London Restructuring practice works across mid‑market and large, complex mandates, advising clients on turnaround strategies, contingency planning, options analysis, cash and liquidity reviews, and formal insolvency processes. The team includes specialists in Complex & International Insolvencies, National Markets, Financial Restructuring, Corporate Simplification and contentious matters, providing end‑to‑end support to maximise value and navigate challenging situations.

Requirements

• Strong academic background with experience in restructuring, insolvency, turnaround, audit, transaction services, corporate finance or related advisory work.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPI or JIEB) or working towards one.
• Proven experience managing restructuring or insolvency engagements, with the ability to interpret financial and commercial information and produce clear client reports.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and wider Microsoft Office. Experience in financial modelling or cash flow forecasting is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience leading teams, managing competing priorities and delivering high‑quality work under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior colleagues.
