Job summary

Warner Scott Recruitment is looking for a senior leader in the Greater London area to join a well-established advisory firm at the Director level. The ideal candidate will advise boards and management teams on restructuring and turnaround projects. Responsibilities include mentoring and building client relationships, working closely with senior leaders in a collaborative environment. Candidates are expected to have a recognised accounting qualification and strong experience in advisory or professional services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in restructuring, turnaround or deal advisory.
• (Ideally) an insolvency qualification or contingency planning experience.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Job description

We’re working with a well-established advisory firm that helps fast-moving and ambitious businesses navigate complex financial and operational challenges. They are expanding their team at Director and Associate Director level. The restructuring team sits at the heart of this work, bringing together strategic thinking and practical problem-solving.

You’ll be advising boards, investors and management teams through change - helping them stabilise, restructure or reposition for growth.

This is a senior leadership role offering scope to shape projects, mentor others, and build meaningful client relationships. You’ll work closely with other senior leaders across the business, in a culture that values curiosity, collaboration and trust.

We’re keen to speak with experienced professionals from advisory or professional services firms. You’ll likely have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in restructuring, turnaround or wider deal advisory
• (Ideally) an insolvency qualification or contingency planning experience
• The ability to lead teams and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders
• A strong market network would be helpful, but not essential.
