Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to assist in maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils aged 11-18. You will support students with behavioural, social and emotional needs and work alongside the pastoral team to reintegrate learners into lessons.

The role emphasises restorative practices, safeguarding, and building strong relationships with students, families and staff within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience in behaviour support and mentoring with young people.
• Experience working with SEND and safeguarding processes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioural, social and emotional needs.
• Supervise students in a dedicated support provision when required.
• Use restorative approaches to improve student behaviour and reintegration.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Work with SEND, pastoral and safeguarding teams.
• Maintain records and contribute to student support plans.
• Be a positive role model and promote school values.
