Job summary

British Garden Centres is seeking Restaurant Team Members for our Albrighton location. This temporary-Christmas, part-time role involves weekend work and a busy, customer-facing environment in our restaurant. You will handle till operations, food and drink service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork required.

• Barista training is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle all restaurant duties and service at busy times.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness.
• Sweep, mop and wash up duties as required.
• Make drinks and operate the till.
• Take food and drink orders and serve customers.
• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure a pleasant guest experience.

May be required to use a computerised tilling system.

Will also involve usual jobs associated with working in a busy restaurant.

Must be Friendly & Confident for this customer facing role.

Be able to work on own initiative & as part of a team, able to adapt to the demands & speed of the business at peak trading.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To include all aspects of restaurant duties.
• Clearing tables.
• Sweeping and mopping.
• Washing up duties.
• Making drinks.
• Till operation.
• Taking food and drink orders to serve our customers.
• Maintain and manage premises with excellent hygiene practises, this may include washing up duties.
• Ensuring our customers have a pleasant experience in our restaurant.
