Job summary

British Garden Centres is hiring for part-time Restaurant Team Members at our Carr Gate site in Wakefield. The role involves busy restaurant duties, till operation, making drinks and delivering excellent customer service. Flexible with hours, including weekends, with duties in a friendly, family-run environment.

Benefits include free car parking and staff discount across our Garden Centres, Restaurants, and Leisure Park. Prior barista training is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• To include all aspects of restaurant duties.
• Clearing tables.
• Sweeping and mopping.
• Washing up duties.

• Taking food and drink orders to serve our customers.
• Maintain and manage premises with excellent hygiene practises.
• Ensuring our customers have a pleasant experience in our restaurant.

May be required to use a computerised tilling system.

Will also involve usual jobs associated with working in a busy restaurant.

Must be Friendly & Confident for this customer facing role.

Be able to work on own initiative & as part of a team, able to adapt to the demands & speed of the business at peak trading.
