Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes is hiring for a full-time restaurant role. You will provide excellent customer service to guests, serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and help set up and reset tables for each service. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced resort environment.

Rates of pay are £12.71 per hour for those over 21 and £10.85 for ages 18-20. Immediate start available for the right candidate, with full-time 40 hours per week and 5 days out of 7

Qualifications

• Previous waiting experience is not essential, but advantageous.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and provide exceptional service.
• Knowledge of dietary or allergen requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests.

Job Description

About the Restaurant role

• Provide fantastic customer service to all of our guests
• Serving our guests breakfast, lunch, and dinner during their stay
• Setting up tables, clearing, and re-laying for the next service.
• Polishing cutlery, crockery, and glasses, ensuring that everything is kept clean and presentable at all times
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic role
• Having a strong Resort knowledge
• Attending training sessions to ensure you have relevant knowledge of dietary and allergen requirements

• Building a rapport with our guests and helping them to feel welcome and enjoy their stay

• Working as a team to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service at each meal throughout their stay

• Ensuring that you attend all relevant training sessions so that you can work to the best of your ability
• Promoting teamwork by establishing strong working relationships with those around you by treating your colleagues with respect

Hours of Work

• Full-time – 40 hours per week
• Working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays
• This role involves split shifts, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner services on the same working day

Restaurant service times

• Breakfast: 7:45am–11:30am
• Lunch: 12:15pm–3:00pm
• Dinner: 6:15pm–10:00pm
