Job summary

Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds, located in the Queen's Hotel Leeds, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the food and beverage team and uphold high service standards. You will work closely with leadership to ensure guest satisfaction and a smooth breakfast operation in a historic setting.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred;
• Excellent personal presentation;
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures;
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing ;
• To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence and lead the team.
• Supervise, encourage and develop the food and beverage team.
• Ensure service standards are maintained during breakfast operation.
• Ensure tables are set and ready for guests at all times.
• Ensure orders are taken and executed promptly.
• Have knowledge of the food and beverage menu and respond to guest queries.
• Communicate guest questions on menu, wait times, and dietary needs to teams.

Your role

You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.

Responsibilities of Food and Beverage Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

You will be expected to deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence. You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team;
Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team;
To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation;
Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times;
Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner;
Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu;
Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection;
Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly.
You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.
