Job summary

Urban Fresh Burgers & Fries is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to join the management team and support daily restaurant operations. You will oversee kitchen and dining areas in the absence of senior staff, ensuring top quality food, great service and exceptional cleanliness.

The role emphasises staff development, adherence to health and safety standards and achieving performance targets. A positive, organised leader with strong numeric skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum experience of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• The ability to learn and train others in all aspects of Urban operations.
• A strong, positive work ethic and the ability to inspire your team.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Good mathematic ability.
• Use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel primarily)

Responsibilities

• Leading by example in areas of maturity, professionalism and integrity.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction through the meeting of targets and standards.
• Ongoing training and monitoring of Burger Masters in health and safety, food hygiene, and workstation compliance.
• Completing any due diligence and paperwork relating to food safety and health and safety when on duty.
• Cashing up and maintaining accurate financial records in the absence of your Management team.
• Upholding the highest standards of food hygiene and food preparation at all times through proper training, monitoring and observation.
• Collaborating with your management team to achieve sales, costs and performance targets
