Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development to maximize team potential, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and valued, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team training.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to uphold food, health, and safety standards.
  • Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belongs.
  • Forward-thinking problem-solving skills.
