Job summary

Olympus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Stockport to lead day-to-day operations for a branded hospitality site. This full-time role features daytime shifts with a latest finish by 6PM, no evenings, and a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.

You will drive P&L outcomes, coach large FOH and BOH teams, and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a high-volume setting. This is a family-run business with strong values and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in branded, full-service hospitality.
• Experience in financial control, including P&L, budgeting, and cost management.
• Track record of coaching and developing large FOH and BOH teams.
• Experience in high-volume environments with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations in a high-volume branded setting.
• Manage P&L, budgeting and cost control to achieve targets.
• Coach and develop large FOH and BOH teams for performance and engagement.
• Drive site transformation and improvement plans while maintaining quality.

Restaurant Manager - What We’re Looking For:

• A natural leader from a branded, full‑service background who understands how to drive standards and deliver results


• Experience in financial control, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cost management


• A track record of coaching and developing large FOH and BOH teams


• Confidence working in high‑volume environments with a strong focus on guest satisfaction


• A proactive, hands‑on manager who leads from the front and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves


• A passion for turning underperforming sites around and driving them to become high‑performing successes


• A calm and confident communicator, capable of managing change and inspiring a team through a period of evolution

Restaurant Manager - The Essentials:

• Previous management experience in a similar hospitality setting (high volume restaurant, branded ideally)


• A full UK driving licence (due to site location)


• Kitchen experience - confident handling food and stepping in where needed
