Olympus Recruitment in Newmarket is seeking an experienced General Manager or Assistant Manager to lead a busy restaurant and takeaway. You’ll be hands-on, involved in kitchen and front of house, delivering great food, strong service, and steady profits.

The role is 40-48 hours per week with a base salary of £35,000–£38,000 plus a performance bonus of up to £6,000, supporting a healthy work-life balance with perks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume hospitality or QSR operations.
• Confidence leading both FOH and BOH teams.
• Passion for delivering consistently great food.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets and P&L.
• Excellent people management and coaching skills.

General Manager - About the Role:

As General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business. You'll lead, coach and motivate your team while ensuring every guest receives excellent food and service.

This is a role for someone who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up. You'll be comfortable supporting kitchen operations when needed, maintaining high food standards and ensuring the business consistently delivers an exceptional product.
