Job description

Gaucho is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be fully accountable for the restaurant's guest experience, financial performance, sales growth, legal compliance, and team development both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH). The Restaurant Manager works closely with senior management to ensure smooth and successful operations across finance, product, and people management. They will oversee the controllable aspects of the P&L, such as managing the budget and stock control.

Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager

1. Work with the General Manager to execute strategies to exceed budget targets and drive top-line sales.
2. Oversee team objectives, development plans, and execute succession planning.
3. Promote the Gaucho culture, inspiring, guiding, and educating team members.
4. Ensure the team is fully trained on compliance standards and achieve above 95% on shield and food audits.
5. Support the General Manager with local initiatives and advertising efforts.
6. Enforce brand standards related to Revinate and mystery diner programs.

Requirements for Gaucho Restaurant Manager

1. Excellent communication skills and inspirational leadership qualities.
2. Proven experience in managing a team.
3. Deep knowledge of the hospitality industry.
4. WSET Level 2 certification is desirable.
