Job summary

TipTopJob is partnering with a brilliant independent hospitality business in Central London who are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. This busy, established restaurant has a loyal guest following and a real focus on quality food, warm service and proper hospitality.

You will lead the FOH team, manage day-to-day operations and drive performance with hands-on leadership on the floor during service. Salary in the region of £55,000–£60,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Must be at General Manager level in a quality restaurant or premium casual environment.
• Capable of running busy services and leading a team with passion for hospitality.
• Experience with independent or European or French-style dining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and maintain high standards.
• Lead Front of House, manage training, rotas, labour and stock.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and drive overall performance.
• Be hands-on on the floor during busy services.

I am working with a brilliant independent hospitality business in Central London who are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. This is a busy, established restaurant with a strong reputation, a loyal guest following and a real focus on quality food, warm service and proper hospitality.

The Role

• You will be responsible for the day:to:day running of the restaurant, leading the FOH team and making sure standards remain consistently high across service, people and guest experience.
• Working closely with the senior team, you will be involved in training and developing the team, rotas, labour, stock, health and safety and driving overall restaurant performance.
• This is very much a hands:on role, so I am looking for someone who loves being on the floor, understands a busy service and can lead a team with personality.
  

The Ideal Candidate

• You will already be working at General Manager level within a quality restaurant, brasserie or premium casual environment.
• You will be confident running busy services, passionate about food and hospitality and, most importantly, a brilliant people person who knows how to get the best from a team.
• A background within independent, European or French:style restaurants would be great, but personality, leadership and genuine hospitality experience are the most important things.
