Maki & Ramen in the United Kingdom is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to launch our new site, oversee day-to-day operations and deliver an outstanding guest experience during events.

You will lead a large, diverse team, provide training, maintain high standards of hospitality, and drive performance through upselling and strict cost control. This is a full‑time role with salary plus tips, designed to grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• High-volume operational expertise with fast table turnover and event-time demand.
• Strong leadership and communication to motivate large teams.
• Commercial/analytical skills to interpret covers, spend, labour, waste.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations within a high-traffic, event-driven venue.
• Lead and develop a large team, uphold hospitality standards and performance.
• Drive commercial performance including revenue, upselling, cost control, labour, and P&L.
• Ensure health and safety, licensing, food hygiene, and arena requirements compliance.
• Collaborate with arena stakeholders to coordinate logistics and guest experience during peak times.
