Popeyes UK Chicken & Pizza Ltd is seeking an experienced Bench Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume Popeyes restaurant in Reading. You will lead teams to deliver outstanding guest experience, drive sales, and manage costs while upholding brand standards.

You’ll recruit and develop staff, optimise schedules, and ensure compliance with food safety and employment laws. This is a dynamic, fast-paced opportunity to grow with a market-leading brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Track record of delivering quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Experience hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience in labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
