Compass Group UK & Ireland, via The Venues Collection, is seeking a hands-on Food Service Manager to lead the Restaurant & Bar operations at Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes. The role reports to the Front of House Manager and focuses on delivering exceptional service, developing a strong team, and driving commercial success on a busy site.

You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety and compliance, and contribute to guest satisfaction across the venue, including Duty Manager

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food and beverage, restaurant or bar operation.
• Strong people leadership and team development skills.
• Good commercial awareness including revenue, stock, wastage and cost control.
• The ability to motivate and engage a team in a busy operational environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and licensing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily Restaurant & Bar operation.
• Deliver high standards of service across the guest journey.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage labour scheduling to match demand.
• Drive revenue through upselling and promotions.
• Monitor service levels and stock control.
• Ensure licensing, food safety and hygiene standards.
